All District 5360 members are
invited to Lethbridge in May 2008 for the annual District Conference,
May 23 to May 25th, 2008.
The conference theme this year
is "ROTARY IS LIGHT, LIGHT FOR THE WORLD". Come and celebrate the 90th
anniversary of the host RC of Lethbridge. Please review the timeline
for the weekend in addition to the Top Ten
Reasons to Attend the Conference.
Regarding room reservations,
the Lethbridge Lodge is pleased to offer the following rates and availability
for the Rotary District Conference 2008 (but for a limited time only):
Standard non smoking rooms with 1 or 2 Queen beds @ $119.00 plus taxes
Business Class non smoking rooms with 1 King bed and 1 Queen sofa-bed
@ $144.00 plus taxes Junior Suite non smoking with a separate bedroom
and a fridge & microwave @ $149.00 plus taxes Individual reservations
can be made by calling the toll free number at 1-800-661-1232 and asking
to book a room under the Rotary District Conference 2008 (Group Code:

The District Conference will
commence Friday evening, and is for the entire district membership. The
District Conference is such a major event that the Rotary International
President attends or sends his personal representative. The conference
will be presided over by our District Governor, Bernie Carrière.
