District Assembly 2005

9-10 September 2005

This is the first time that the annual District 5360 Assembly will be held in the Fall as separate events from the District Conference, which is traditionally held in the spring.

The assembly will incorporate the Foundation and Membership training events, together with the District Development Society workshop, making this an opportunity for the District, club executives and commitee chairs to learn and establish plans that will ensure the first year of Rotary's next 100 years is a great one.

As the formal agenda highlights, the topics will span the Four Avenuses of Service as well as cover many of Rotary International's major initiatives. Lunch on Saturday will be informative, entertaining and run like a weekly Rotary club meeting.

We can't forget the social events. The Friday evening reception will be an occasion for Rotarians and their partners to mix and mingle with District leaders and guest speakers. Home-stay will be available for out-of-town Rotarians and the reception will be a chance to meet your hosts. A Saturday programme is also being arranged for partners.

In summary there will be something for everyone!

FREE parking for the District Assembly!

Free parking will be available in Impark's lot 84 directly east of the Chamber of Commerce building. Patrons simply need to park and not bother purchasing a ticket. Impark has agreed to not patrol this lot on Friday evening and Saturday.
